Spreading Joy and Kindness: Malayan Insurance Claims Team Goes Beyond Insurance

On June 15, 2024, the Malayan Insurance Claims Division embarked on a self-initiated and heartwarming CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) project at the Missionaries of Charity, a home within the Diocese of Antipolo caring for sick and malnourished children and unwed mothers. 

This is the division’s official entry in the company’s CSR GameChangers Program, a program designed to raise awareness and foster a sense of commitment among employees towards engaging CSR and sustainable development activities . 

The day was filled with acts of kindness as volunteers, all employees of Malayan Insurance, came together to empower and give back to the community. Their generous donations included essential items like groceries, rice, toiletries, cleaning supplies, household essentials, and new and pre-loved clothing, footwear, toys, and books for the children.

But the spirit of giving went beyond material possessions. The volunteers rolled up their sleeves, assisting with laundry, cleaning the premises, and even performing light carpentry and maintenance tasks to ensure a comfortable environment for the home's residents.

The volunteers hosted a program filled with fun games for the children and educational learning segments for the children, creating a lasting impact on all involved. All together, Malayan Insurance and its employees did more than just give back to the 50 children, caregivers, and nuns at the Home of Love, they also built foundations and core memories for all. 

This CSR project is a testament to Malayan Insurance's commitment to social responsibility and its employees' initiative and dedication to making a difference in the lives of others.
